Rotorstock is back at Santa Pod Raceway!

Slap-bang in the middle of summer, Rotorstock is a chilled-out yet packed weekend for anyone into Japanese cars. Popular with clubs, and featuring unique activities, Rotorstock has been tweaked for 2008 to include inter-club Run What Ya Brung competitions, Drift What Ya Brung, the amazing HKS Drag Series and of course the Run What Ya Brung competition.

Run What Ya Brung

Get your own car on the famous quarter mile, and get involved in the Run What Ya Brung competition! Featuring simple classes to find the fastest FWD, RWD and 4WD road cars in the UK. RWYB is suitable for anyone with a Japanese car and a driving licence. Also NEW for 2008: inter-club Run What Ya Brung competition with eliminations!

Drift What Ya Brung

Pro drift demo sessions for spectators and NEW for 2008: Santa Pod’s runaway success of Drift What Ya Brung comes to Rotorstock! Anyone with a driftable car can get out on the track and learn the basics burning rubber. Sessions cost from £30 and include tuition from expert drifters.

HKS Drag Series

The fastest Japanese cars in Europe converge on the Pod for the 3rd round of the HKS Drag Series. With wheelie-poppin’ RX7’s, speeds of over 170mph and low-8 second quarter miles, this is the fastest race action a Japanese car fan can witness!


Show Car Competition

Top show cars compete for ultimate style points in the Meguiars Show Car Paddock.

Yorkshire Modified Car Show 08/06/08

A few of the maxxd members went to the Yorkshire Modified car show at Pickering Showground on sunday, and not only was the turnout amazing, they were treated to some proper, old skool, scorching hot, SHOW SUNSHINE!
