We slid behind the wheel of the 2021 BMW M3 Competition and found it’s worth looking beyond the aggressive front grille. The chassis, engine, and suspension are all a return to form for the German legend, while the interior is a bit chintzy.

Shelby American announced the 2021 Ford Shelby Super Snake Speedster with up to 825 hp and a manual transmission. Based on the current Mustang, the Speedster is a two-seater with a custom tonneau cover over the rear. A wide-body kit can be added for a meaner appearance.

The 2021 Ford F-150 Police Responder made its debut with a top speed of 120 mph, an upgraded infotainment system, over-the-air update capability, and a new four-wheel-drive system. A hybrid powertrain isn’t in the mix, for now, but with 400 hp and 500 lb-ft of torque, this police truck has plenty of grunt.

The German automaker plans further development of solid-state batteries, with the new technology possibly hitting the road in 2025. We drove the 2021 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat and found it’s a defiant, doomed, and menacing family hauler that both appalled with its audacity and enamored with brutish charms. The three-row Hellcat will be the rarest of the supercharged beasts as only 2,000 will be built and only for the 2021 model year.

The 2022 Honda CR-V was spotted undergoing testing with a light layer of camouflage. The small crossover SUV’s design will take an evolutionary step forward with design influence from the latest Accord sedan. The upcoming CR-V appears to be longer than the current model, and the interior will likely take cues from the redesigned Civic.

We now know what happens when you cross the Boot and 004 supercar from Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus. It’s called the 008, and it looks like a safari version of the 004 triple-seat supercar. The mid-engine off-roader’s long-travel off-road suspension could make it eligible to tackle the Baja 1000.

The 2021 Chevrolet Corvette now starts above $60,000. Despite a $1,000 price bump across the lineup, the Corvette will remain a value. Other changes include new exterior color options, available full-length racing stripes, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Subtlety can be attractive, and the 2020 Audi SQ8 is an understated performance crossover SUV. A twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8 pushes this four-ringed crossover to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds despite its 5,324-lb curb weight. It’s one quick way to get to Starbucks. There’s no question the SQ8 is worth the $20,000 upcharge over the base Q8.
