Our resident JAP head Ollie took a chance and visited the largest aircooled VW show in the country - VanFest!! He has admitted that he had an awesome time, and has even hinted there may be a camper van on his drive one day! I knew we would convert you sooner or later! Muhaha!

For Maxxd.com, the show season is officially closed when this show comes round. So we normally like to camp for the 2 days before, and then enjoy the show on the sunday. This year most of the guys were going on the track, and hardly any of us were able to camp. we had to set off early and join the queues like everyone else!
It was worth the wait though, and the rain only made the track action more entertaining!

Widdo kindly took pics when he went to york raceway to compete in this years Pug vs Dub face off! He did very well and picked up a 0-60 time of 6.012 seconds in his Pug 106 GTi. He came 3rd overall in the reaction times, andhad the fastest 106 GTi of the whole day, and the 2nd fastest pug in total!

Widdo & Ollie got up at 7am on a SUNDAY to head down to the famous silverstone circuit to watch some proper cars rip roar round the track!
